About Me

Throughout my life I have never been that creative. I am always envious of my mother and sister when they complete different crafts and it looks amazing. My high school career consists of me being a typical teenager and never stepping out of my comfort zone and never taking any fun classes. However, as a senior I decided I wanted to change things up and I got very interested in my m others camera. Bringing in my mothers camera on the first day of class I had no idea what I was doing. I knew how to take a simple picture and that was it. I didn't know how to bring my pictures to life yet or how to capture the beauty of a simple object.

As a result, I learned a lot from my photography class. As the weeks went on I was able to learn different functions on my camera.  I learned how to take an ordinary object and change the angle of my camera to capture a whole new perspective. As the weeks grew on I noticed the difference in my photographs. I saw myself becoming an artist. This was a feeling I was not familiar. with. Not only did I see my photos changed I figured out what kind of pictures I liked to capture. I believe my photos are different than other students because of the things I capture. One of my favorite things to take a photo of are little statues in people's yards. By zooming in I love seeing the different textures in a statue. From being in my photography class I didn't just learn things about my camera, but I also learned things about myself.

However, as the weeks go by my time at HHS are coming to an end. Not only does that mean leaving the place I have been for the past four year, but that also means leaving  my photography class. As I move on to the next chapter of my life I plan to take a photography class in college. I have really enjoyed learning how to take photography and I have loved becoming an artist. I plan to take more photos on my own and breaks some rules. Looking through a camera has become so much more to me then just looking through the lens.
